Environment

Since 1998, the cooperation of public and private entities including the "Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection", the "United States Environmental Protection Agency" and "USS Real Estate" has helped begin to uncover the potential of the KIPC, a 2,200+ acre Brownfield site.

Working together, they’ve enabled redevelopment efforts that have established the KIPC as a premier destination for manufacturing and industrial tenants of all kinds — including a host of “green” companies dedicated to the advancement of environmentally-friendly technologies, products and services.

And it’s just the beginning. The agencies have declared a commitment to cooperation on numerous levels, making navigating the environmental process as simple and cooperative as possible for interested tenants.
